Pioneer Academy is proud to celebrate the strong Cambridge IGCSE results achieved by our learners in the November 2025 examination series. With a cohort of six candidates, these results reflect steady academic progress, resilience, and a commitment to learning within our close-knit school community.
A total of 44 examination entries were written across a broad range of subjects, with 100% of entries awarded a grade—a clear indicator of consistent engagement and perseverance by our candidates. Nearly 50% of all results were achieved at A–C level, demonstrating solid academic attainment and readiness for further study. Notably, the session included a top achievement of an A* in Afrikaans as a Second Language, alongside strong B and C performances across multiple subjects.
All results were converted using the University of Botswana (UB) merit scale, where the maximum possible total is 48 points. We are delighted to report that our top achiever earned an impressive 42 merit points, reflecting a high level of academic excellence.
We are also pleased to share that five of the six IGCSE candidates have progressed to AS Level studies in 2026, highlighting the effectiveness of our academic preparation and the confidence learners gain at Pioneer Academy to move into more advanced programmes.
These results are a testament to the dedication of our students, the commitment of our teaching staff, and the strong partnership we share with our families. Pioneer Academy remains focused on nurturing confident, capable learners and continuing our journey of academic growth and excellence.
